• Sample can be drawn at any time. No fasting or special preparation required.
• Sample should taken in plain vial.
Significance of test
RA factor has been demonstrated in approximately 80 % of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. False positive results may occur in hepatitis, sarcoidosis, and cirrhosis of liver, Sjogren's syndrome, acute bacterial and viral infection. Diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis should be made in conjunction with complete clinical evaluation.
